Excursion to Cannes
Cannes is a combination of glamour and Provence style. The cream of the film industry gathers here every May, and the rest of the time the city is alive with tourism, shopping and art.
There are many villas in this town, built during the beautiful era by Russian and English aristocrats. During our tour we will take a look at the most beautiful of them. One of the villas even housed royalty.
In the old days the town prospered thanks to the monks. Now the monastery is on the island of Saint Honora, a 30-minute boat ride from Cannes. I will be delighted to tell you the history of the islands on our tour.
You will also learn about the origins of the names Cannes and Croisette. We'll go up to the Suquet district, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the port of Cannes, and we'll visit the local church.
I will take you up the Avenue of the Stars where we talk about Brigitte Bardot and Grace Kelly. We will also make sure to take a photo on the red carpet of the Cannes Festival.
A small group tour allows you to tailor the tour as much as possible to your interests and desires. I am always happy to make the tour as interesting as possible for you.
